How to make Peanut Butter No-Bake Energy Balls
This yummy no-bake energy ball recipe is super easy to whip together. Here’s what you need to do:
First, grab a large mixing bowl. Add oats, peanut butter, crispy brown rice cereal, flax seeds, chocolate chips, maple syrup, chia seeds and cinnamon to a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
If the mixture feels dry, stir in another tablespoon of peanut butter and continue to mix well. Make sure your peanut butter is smooth and creamy as it will not stick together well if it is the hard stuff at the bottom of the jar.
Next, form the energy balls. Once your ingredients are nice and sticky, use a small cookie scoop to form 1 inch balls. You may also roll the mixture into balls with your hands. Wet hands a little at a time to keep the mixture from sticking.
Place balls on a cookie sheet and allow them to set in the refrigerator for up to 1 hour. Once the energy balls are firm, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 5 days.
Store balls in the freezer if by chance they were not devoured on the first day. Grab one out of the freezer for a quick healthy snack on-the-go.
